Townsville Rentals' Leasing Process Explained

At Townsville Rentals, we are always working hard to retain good tenants. We want to make sure that you understand our process for securing a new lease from your tenants.
Once a lease on your property is within three months of expiring, your Property Manager will contact you via email or mail to confirm whether you would like us to re-sign your tenants. If we don't receive instructions from you, we will try once more and if there is still no response, we will progress the lease renewal according to what we view as being in your best interests.
From here, we send a lease agreement to the tenants based on your instructions (or according to the previous agreement if we haven’t been able to contact you). If the tenants express any concerns, we negotiate with them to try and reach agreement.
In the current difficult rental market, re-signing good tenants is a priority and we work hard to achieve this wherever possible.
